We ate on the patio which faces the street so it was a little noisy but it was a gorgeous day. He LOVED pesto chicken sandwich. I was overwhelmed with the roast beef on sourdough but took half home for another meal. We will definitely go back.

This is so good I'm not going to say much about it. I would like to keep this fort Worth secret

I love deli food, so this was an exciting find. It was my first time in so I tried 3 items; a pastrami sandwich, the banana pudding, and the Tex-Mex lasagna style dish. Maybe I'm so critical because I can't look my cardiologist in the eye when I have made bad choices, but the sandwich had too many marbled pieces. The rye bread looked better. It also had too many dried out crumbly pieces. The grilled onion and thin sliced pickle were an interesting add, though not requested. That was my fault though. When I said I was looking for pastrami, the very pleasant young man at the counter boasted so about the sandwich that I forgot to read how it's made and what comes on it. My health won't allow me to have it again, which is fine because I didn't feel I got $15 worth of sandwich. The banana pudding which was made with homemade Vanilla Wafers and freash Vanilla bean was delicious, even though it left an oily coating in my mouth. This experience was new to me. I am from Chicago. There, you taste the cream but not any oily film. As for the Tex-Mex lasagna style dish, I never found enough flavor. I expected it to be wonderfully flavorful. I now feel a healthier respect for those who must go through life unable to taste flavors.
