I am very pleased with the quality of the cabinets and the professionalism of the firm. Excellent customer service and consistent, timely, notifications on progress. I have purchased two sets of cabinets from Premium Cabinets and I am extremely satisfied with both. Mike and Kevin work as a well honed team from product identification, measuring, ordering, quality control and customer satisfaction follow up. Five stars

We had a great experience with Mike and Kevin at Premium Cabinets. Both guys came out to our house several times before and after install for measurements, adjustments, minor corrections, etc. They were very flexible with the timing of their visits, worked around our schedule and the other contractors who were onsite, and helped us find solutions for the minor issues that always come up during any renovation. I felt like they were genuinely concerned about our happiness with the project and with their level of customer service. Even when some of our problems were caused by other contractors, Mike helped us anyway--that's the definition of going above and beyond. The end result is an amazing new kitchen.

We had a very mixed experience with premium cabinets and would like to share what we went though. First, the good: The cabinets were very reasonably priced and made of plywood. The design process was very easy and we were given good CAD mockups. Kevin was very receptive to our concerns and made sure the design reflected what we wanted. Pretty quick turnaround time considering all the supply chain disruptions we've been having lately. Now the not so good: Communication was a bit of an issue from the start. My account was opened by my mother, but I quickly updated the account with my information. Despite this, all communication seemed to go to her and not to me after repeatedly giving them my info. We were up-front about our plan to install the cabinets ourselves, so I would have expected them to let us know about modifications that might need to be made to cabinets after they were assembled in order for them to match our design. They did not offer any such info at the time of order, so we assumed none were needed. Kevin had gotten the measurements for the space we planned to install the cabinets and all of our appliances. He didn't raise any concerns at the time of order when asked if everything would fit. When the cabinets were assembled, we quickly realized that we had gotten a single oven cabinet instead of the double oven cabinet we thought we had ordered. It turns out that they couldn't even order a standard double oven unit even though that's what we were shown in the CAD. I brought this to Mike's (the cabinet assembler) attention. He agreed that this wasn't a double oven unit and said that he would look into what could be done to remedy things before delivery. I checked with him before delivery to see if there was any resolution available, to which he said there was nothing to be done on their end. Wanting to finish our remodel, we accepted the delivery of the cabinet which Mike told us could be modified to accept our oven. We did the modification, but due to the size of our oven (of which they knew the dimensions at the time of order) we had to trim the shaker doors at the top and bottom, which made them look uneven. When presented with that information, they claimed that the modification could have been done non-destructively. This was not true from actually doing the modification and seeing how tight the tolerances were. As a show of good faith and in light of all the communication issues, we asked that they supply us with a new set of doors at the correct size. We ended up in a teleconference with Jim (the manager), Kevin, and Mike where we explained the issues that we had been having. It became apparent that this was the first time that Jim heard of the communication issues we were having. The concerns we had about the oven cabinet were never documented on their end. We also encountered some inappropriate comments relating to our decision to self-install. We didn't experience any issues during installation that would have prompted such comments. In the end, the resolution that we requested (new doors) was fulfilled at no cost to us, and we appreciate that. The process to get to that point should not been as difficult as it was. Overall, the product itself was good but communication around the product was very poor. There were several issues that could have been resolved entirely by effective communication about measurements/product availability/modifications.
