Don't eat here. They are way understaffed. Anything they cook in the fryer tastes like fish. Expensive prices for generic food. Save your money

Your typical truck stop greasy spoon cafe. Meals are quite expensive. Portions are generous and tasty with the exception of biscuits and gravy being too salty. (When will cooks realize customers can always add salt/pepper at the table, but can’t remove salt/pepper). Waitress was friendly and attentive although some gruff to other staff about being understaffed could be heard.

Can’t sit there that section was closed I was looking for a table but if I can’t have one table of the 20 available I’ll keep looking to eat somewhere else

Waitresses we're talking loudly and rude. Food cam out after 25 minutes but not very warm... Dirty tables all over the place.

Love the place the salad bar is the best anywhere their chicken and dumpling soup and their cabbage and beef soup is fantastic and I've never had anything bad off the menu even the T-Bone Steak is tender and cooked to order i suggest you try the Iron Skillet you will go back
They've remodeled and No smoking inside anymore so that should not be a problem any longer....
Not that I'm aware of. I'm not associated with the iron skillet. I have just been eating there since I was a kid. They are a truck stop. They have a menu you can order from and a buffet

Kids 10 and under eat free Sundays with adult paid entree. Starting May 15 kids will eat free everyday til Labor Day! Come by your Iron Skillet soon!
Costs about 15 per person for buffet not sure if that includes drink
