Mr. Lumberjack puts the Soul in Soul Food! He and his staff made me feel like I was at my Maw Maw and Paw Paw’s camp when I was a child. Best BBQ Ribs and Pork Steak in town. Dirty rice, potato salad and green beans are on point. I’ll be eating on this plate of food all weekend, he serves you a lot.

Man, man, man! While driving into Lake Charles from Baton Rouge I decided to try this spot out and MAN! I’m ready to move in the lot across the street so I can have it for breakfast lunch and dinners this food was amazing and the service was top notch! Can’t wait to come back and try other things on the menu. Highly recommend to everyone in the area and passing through!

I got the baked stuffed chicken, mustard greens, green beans, rice and gravy. Oh my gawd, no one warned me how good it was going to be! I haven’t tried my pumpkin pie, but I know it’s going to be divine.

I haven't eaten there in awhile. The last I went some of food was a little to salty for me. But since then, they have new cooks and I heard the food is much better. You will have to call.
They are serving drive through only as far as I know. You can call in your order and have it ready before you ride.
Would never eat there again service sucked lady had an attitude and then I saw one of the owners and Shoppers value buying me for the restaurant so I just said oh no If you from Lafayette you know you don't need that Shoppers value meat
I have eaten there many times. Each time the food was delicious! I am a customer for life!
