I love the classes they offer. The instructors and staff are great as well. The beach behind the building is a bonus.

Stopped in to sign 90 year old mom up for an art class. I was told this is not a drop off place and that the seniors that come here, drive here. She does have dementia but is highly self sufficient. I felt like she was not welcome and felt shunned. Seemed more like a private club than a place for a senior to go and make friends or do a project. Left in tears but I WAS given a brochure for my “needs” for her. Wow. Just wow.

Administration has taking over the senior center. A place for senior activities has become a one day a week location. Remem ber why its called the senior center not the admin building.

What happened to the exercise classes for the seniors????? Just talked to my grandparents who have been coming here for years. Just opening up to play cards?? Ridiculous. These seniors enjoyed the exercise classes.

Yes it cost to join if you live outside of Grand Traverse county. I live in Leelanau County and it cost me $50.00 a year.
No, but appointments are scarce to non-existent at this time. You are free to call and get another suggestion if we have no appointments available.
50 years i do believe , but best to call them . It could be 62 ? Or disabled has rights i hear is different to ,so there are difference ? Hope you can find out .
