Lots if people here on a Saturday evening enjoying the sunset and the view of the city. The road to the lookout is a winding mountain road, so take it slow if you aren't used to that. The lookout is at approximately 2300 feet elevation. The terrain is a bit rugged around the overlook, so wear sturdy shoes. Great view of the valley. It's fun to try to figure out where your house is.

Peaceful and beautiful scenery. Coming here reminds me of my late father in law 🥰

The road closes at 7pm but you stay as late as you want up there once your in.
Nope it's free. Make sure you enter before 7pm. In case you are planning in the evening.
No. You can easily drive a normal car. Paved road and parking lot
As far as I know the road to the lookout is closed to motor vehicle traffic only one Sunday per month. The recorded phone message says the park is open daily from 5AM to 7PM and makes no mention of exceptions for holidays.
Yes there were gates.
YOU GOT TO KEEP DRIVING TO THE TOP my g 𝓫𝓵𝓮𝓼𝓼𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓼

You can drive up to the gate to it. It will still be about a quarter mile walk up the road past where it's fenced off.
To hiking yes. But I think to go up in a car still closed.
Yes it is :)
No, it is a city park and there is no overnight camping in an RV.
No
Not a mountain top but if you visit the Hyatt Hotel they have a sky high restaurant call Compass Arizona Grill. You can dine and enjoy the views while you eat.
You can drive to the lookout, its about 4 miles up the mountain..and its not for anyone who is afraid of heights. But the payoff is a beautiful view of the city, and sunset 😁
