Clean, neat and tidy drive thru style. Magnet to help with the preplan at home. The staff are friendly and helpful

Quite pleasant. Was there for a couple of hours with few passerbys.

It is clean & well done. There are separate containers for all different classes of recyclables. It is fairly convenient to most of Anderson County. For a recycling center it is great!

We just moved to Anderson and are thrilled that there is such a nice recycling center! This is something other cities would do well to emulate!

No. Contact Asplunde. They do the tree cutting for Duke Enérgy & may be willing to come by & turn your trees to chips.
Bottles, cans, plastic, paper & cardboard are all accepted in separate containers. This is not the CENTER - just another resident.
They don’t recycle clothes any more.
No
At the recycling center close to the Civer Center, no. At the county dumping sites, yes.
You cannot bring any kind of construction material whatever. They take cans aluminum and steel glass number one and two plastic bottles and jugs mixed papers and corrugated cardboard. There is also a place to put recycle electronic debris. But no construction stuff and there is no fee and it's open from 8 to 6 Monday to Saturday
Yes ,but must be put in special containers provided at facility ,not with ordinary household trash
They should
They might
You can take refrigerators to the Gossett Street recycling yard and they will actually buy them.
1 & 2
This center does not. There is a huge tire collection area off of I85, but don't know anything else about it.
No, They don't do any kind of reimbursement at this center.
No
They used to take a larger variety of plastics, but my understanding is that now they only want plastics that have a screw on cap. Milk jugs, water bottles, etc...
Yes, they take cardboard.
Does anyone buy plastic or Glass bottle anymore
I dont think so
Starr landfill
Drop off only. Contact a local scrap collector and they usually pick up for free
Yes, they are taking them this year, and there are drop off sites at the Twin Lakes and Friendship boat ramps on Lake Hartwell. They are then used for fish habitats.
Yes. We have a bin for that.
No, they don’t.
No, it is free to take stuff there.
Yes you can
Yes--at Manse Jolly Rd or at King David.
The center at King David and the one near Harris Bridge Rd both take them.
Habitat for Humanity takes some paint products and supplies and Home Depot may as well.
Not at this one, I think some of the other centers do though.
They do not pick up trash. It's a drop off only facility. Also called the dump
