This is a beautiful Basilica. If you're just visiting the Phoenix area then you should attend one of the masses there. Outside the basilica there's a beautiful garden with sculptures all around.

I didn't go inside, but my friend and I took a look at the outside of this minor basilica. There's a peaceful little park-like area to the side of the church with artificial grass and statues of Pope John Paul II, St. Francis of Assisi, Mother Theresa, and Jesus disguised as a homeless man. The outside of the church is well maintained.

Very nice church. The music during the Mass is so good. The small park nextdoor is also very green, clean and beautiful.

Nice for the out-of-town faithful to be able to visit a basilica. Any church is a great place to pray and give thanks to God, but from a tourism perspective this church is not nearly as impressive as the one in St Louis and Washington DC.

He found you from the beginning of time. He has numbered the hairs on your head. You are as important to him as any human on earth. He patiently waits for us to turn to him so he can give us his peace and understanding. Sit before the Euchrist in adoration and pray the Jesus prayer. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.

I really don't know if they do, but you can go there to ask or get some type of assistance Please don't go to CASS, it's very dangerous down there, listen if you see a car with CBI on it flag it down and tell them your problem, they help get housing for up to 3 yrs from what l heard, plus two of my friends was down at CASS, had been for 10 yrs, now their in their own place. But don't go to CASS 😭it part of Section 8, they will pay 3yrs of your rent until you can find a job, if you get it, no one can come live with you, period! Or you will be evicted immediately.no drugs or alcohol on the premises where you stay they will call the police.
Sorry, I don't know. Please call the church.
Yes. There is one inside the Basilica itself or the Nave.
There are food bags/boxes that are delivered by the St Vincent team and St Mary's volunteers every Saturday morning to families/individuals who are signed up. However an individual can approach any of the resident brothers if asking for a simple food donation. Also after the Sunday masses, there's complimentary pastries and coffee.

Religious ed classes usually coincide with the school year. They're usually on Sunday mornings. Some Sundays will have no class (similar to school breaks). But it is a whole school year, so you have to register before it begins. Registration and orientation schedule is announced in the parish bulletin once the coming school year has been planned out.
Give the church office s call. They will be able to make the arrangements to have someone go out to see them.
