Bruce's Air was very responsive. We received three quotes for swamp cooler pad replacement and chose Bruce's Air. They were on time and great with communication. We received images of the work completed as well. Would highly recommend.

I called Bruce's Air for maintenance on one of my two air conditioning units as it was short cycling. The repair technician that showed up was polite and courteous. He quickly diagnosed the issue as one of the lines attached to the coil was leaking and the refrigerant had been completely emptied. The unit was out of warranty and the replacement unit was around $4000 dollars to replace. They offered to repair the line and refill the unit for $2,550 which I thought was very costly. I didn't have time to search and wait for another company to come out to diagnose/fix the issue while my house heated up. I ended up paying for the repair. The next day I did have a follow up with their service manager who I expressed my displeasure with the cost and explained that I specifically went to them and not one of the big companies beause I have been gouged on pricing in the past. They were more than happy to listen to my concerns and refunded me a large portion of the costs to appease the issue. They also threw in a 1-year maintenance visit. I have never had this kind of customer service experience with a business. They went above and beyond to take care me and retain me as a customer. I would definitely recommend them over any A/C companies in the area.

Our A/C system went out early in the evening. We called Bruce’s and they responded within 2 hours. Our tech Connor was courteous and thorough. Within an hour and a half he had checked out the entire system and repaired it. And we felt the cost was very reasonable given the work completed.

Because it's such an important & expensive purchase, common sense would tell you to get a few estimates beforehand. But considering that Bruce's is a smaller family-owned business, & not a huge corporation, I trust that you'll be fine if you just make one call to Bruce's. I've been doing business with them for years and they have ALWAYS been professional, knowledgeable & courteous. A+ for Bruce's, they'll treat you right.

The efficiency is s.e.e.r rating of unit. You can add a few things to help .like a hard start kit . That lowers the starting amps .

No they are sealed systems and pull the heat from inside the home
No not in a residential application some commercial do require a h20 glycol mix
What do you mean by modify
Ha! When my new unit started having repeated problems, Bruce's told me, "It's to be expected, they don't build the life they used to." My $3600 unit started having multiple problems 3 years after installation, including a leak in the coils that they couldn't find. Every problem was covered by the warranty, but his labor charges are costly! I am not happy.
Over a decade, but it is important to maintain properly.
