The staff at the Lasik Vision Institute are great. They are very helpful when it comes to determining what eye correction surgery is best for you. I had mono-vision correction surgery 3 days ago and can already see from the moment I left the office post surgery. The healing process has been phenomenal. I see better and better every day. I highly recommend them for your vision correction.

They seem to have a hard time keeping doctors. They called me at the last minute before surgery to either switch my surgery to a very far location or reschedule. Since patients schedule days off work for surgery of course I traveled farther for the surgery. Then when it came time for my 2 week follow up they again call me at the last minute to tell me that they no longer have a doctor at the downtown location I was scheduled for and asked do I want to drive much farther to a different location or have them call me when they get a doctor. Me thinking their first priority is to get a doctor and that they care about how my sight is doing and will call me ASAP asked them to go ahead and call me back. SIX months later still no call, so I call them and my location is just spontaneously closed for no apparent reason (the operator actually told me this was an unscheduled closure for the day) so the operator scheduled for the location to call me back. They call back the next day or so while I'm working so I can't answer. The location never answers their phone, so you would think they would try me again. NOPE. Here it is 8 months later & still no check up. And I would expect my eyes to be better than they are but can't get a follow up, so who knows. You are at the mercy of who wants to work or not at this place. Dont think you are choosing & trusting them and that they are at your mercy since you employed them. Not sure what other options there are since this place is who my insurance uses but if you have other options go somewhere else. This place cares about the sale and that's about it. You have to wonder why they can't keep doctors.

MOST TRAUMATIZING PAIN I’VE EVER EXPERIENCED. I decided to get Lasik in both eyes. The facility failed to mention anything about the possibility of extreme pain (10/10) from the numbing drops either missing my eye or not working. In my right eye, I FELT EVERYTHING during the procedure & left the office with the nauseating sensation that a knife was stuck in my eye. I’ve never experienced more pain in my life & lasted for over an hour until I passed out from exhaustion. When I followed up & asked the office what happened, they said “it’s normal” & “it happens” yet did NOT disclose it anywhere. This was not normal & I am traumatized by the experience. My left eye was an easy, flawless procedure with the expected discomfort then mentioned for post-op. Vision is corrected as expected. The office & staff was nice & friendly, besides acting like this experience was normal. They happily hold my full payment for the procedure & have done nothing to rectify what they’ve put me through.

I had my procedure done yesterday and I'm so happy I did. The entire office makes you feel so comfortable and explained everything in detail to put my mind at ease. I would definitely refer anyone to this location.

Multiple people at the front desk. Not sure about the back areas, but from what I saw, they were very accommodating to Spanish speakers.

Well the first appt is to check your eyes, and other eye related it's about a two hour process. If you are a good fit, you can schedule as soon as they have opening. The day of surgery is about 10-20 wait. Surgery is about 10 mins top!
The grpupon only covers the surgery. The plugs and any additional warranties is extra.
