Security and Management has really cleaned up the premises of the building, in the past it was inundated with homeless, and also which appeared to be drug addicts. Great staff, clean and relaxing library. They currently are offering free hotspot Wi-Fi to utilize at your home. I enjoy every time that I go to the library speaking to the female janitor, she's phenomenal.

I had a book on hold but didn't have the right card. With my ID they were able to let me check out the book.

Librarians are super helpful and lovely people to chat with. So many books it'll have something for every book worm out there. Can return media to any of the 17 Phoenix Public Libraries, which makes check out and returns super easy. Have always loved the library, and this one is no different ❤️

They have a lot of individual computers which one or two people could crowd around. They also have at least one classroom style room of 20+ computers if you are looking for larger groups.
As long as you have a valid form of Id whether it be a driver's license or out-of-state identification you can still get a card. Address verification is needed for full privileges 35 items to be checked out. If you don't have proof of address you can still get a card with a 3 item limit check out.
Yes, they have computers that one can use for personal business.
There is a book drop outside to the right of the doors.
Doesn't look like it is at Cholla right now, but you can request it. http://catalog.phoenixpubliclibrary.org/search/title.aspx?ctx=1.1033.0.0.35&cn=4113170
Please call the main Phoenix Public Library number at 602-262-4636.
Online is the quickest and easiest way. You can also do hold requests online.
Yes you can they have print stations
As far as I can see, yes. They have a spot for a disc to be inserted and I've not had any problems playing whatever media it was I was using the computer for.
No
Yes, but I think you have to ask for one, or reserve it
Please contact the library directly or check online.
Yes 👍
Yes. With the exception of South Mountain Community Library, all Phoenix Public Library locations are open for in-building service.
Yes and there is no charge
9:30 am on Mondays
Yes!
Not in the sense that you need to get a new card. If you live in Phoenix your card will expire every 3 years, if you are outside the city it is every year. All that means is you need to confirm your information is correct. That can be done at any branch or online if nothing has changed. If you receive emails from the library you will get a notice about a month before the expiration.
Most days there is no wait for a computer. The only time that there is ever a wait is when there is a class. Those are currently on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. If you have a card you can get on to any computer that has an "available" on the screen. If you do not have a library card you can get one with your photo ID and a Maricopa county address. The adult computers are on the second floor and are available for an hour at a time and time will extend automatically for 15 minutes if there is no one waiting and there rarely is.
There are no board games to check out.
Not at this one but if you put some on hold you will be able to pick them up here, they just have to ship from downtown
Library cards are free to Maricopa county residents
The library is closed on Friday .
Discarded books, magazines and even some media are on sale everyday for cheap $2.00 or less

Both are 3 weeks. The library does auto renewals unless there is a hold or a movie is a new release. They send you periodic emails to update what is going on with your account.

Yes, i checked the online catalog - which you could also easily do. They have GED books. I'd suggest reserving one in advance. You may do so online. Or call the library.
To use library computers, you must have a library card - you can get one if you can prove you live in Arizona. You don't need a card if you use your own device to send document to printer. 20¢ per page to print black and white
Yes,, many. In CD format & MP3 on CD. Also available via online lending for download
6 times is the default, but if someone puts in a request you won't be able to renew
u can get a replacement card once a year, I have no idea about Hoopla, you'd have to ask someone else, suggest a librarian

I checked the online library catalog - which you can also easily do. Link to the website is on Google Maps. Then you can easily find the online catalog. Library has a number of her books, but not that one. Call the library and ask about interlibrary loan.
