I used to go to this library as a kid and loved every second of it. I went back recently and saw how it was remodeled and looks great! They have even added a seed bank, a big selecting of movies and a whole computer area. A fantastic library all around and getting a card gives you all sorts of options for online libraries for books they don't have on the shelf and access to resources!

Hello - Yes, both Peoria Public Libraries are accepting donations. We accept copies of like-new hardback and paperback books, children’s books, textbooks, cookbooks, magazines, DVDs and CDs. We regret we cannot accept materials that are damaged, smoke filled or missing covers, textbooks over five years old or magazines more than a year old. If you have a large donation, please contact your local Peoria Public Library to schedule a drop off time. Contact information for both buildings can be found at: https://peoria.polarislibrary.com/polaris/custom/hours_locations.aspx
Yes, any adult with a library card in good standing can check out a hotspot. There is normally a wait list.
Yes.
The service contract the library had with Hoopla ended over the summer.
I don't Do it online
Yes they do
There's computers on the second floor for adults and teens and on the first floor for kids. If you have a library card computer use is free up to 2 hours a day. If not you can sign up for a card (free for first time members just need an ID and proof of current residential address). Guest passes can also be purchased for 2 hours if needed. You can pay with cash at the reference desks next to the computer labs or with a debit card at the circulation desk when you walk in the door.
I think that they would have them available. Maybe you could call to find out?
Yes With a card usage is free with limited time.
Since there's probably different copies I would go to the website and type it in for a search to see if they have the one you're specifically looking for.
No
I believe the author's name is Shirley Neitzel. I did not find any of her books in the online library catalog. Check with a librarian about the possibility of borrowing them through interlibrary loan. And how to use the online library catalog. One can easily access the catalog online by going to the website.
Yes you just need a library card if you want to check out, use the computer for free or online services. To get a card you need a photo ID and proof of residency in Maricopa county ( mail or a bill or your drivers licence).
No you will need to get a Peoria library card but it's easy and free if you love anywhere in Maricopa county. You just need a photo ID and proof of address.
Yes there are 3 upstairs you can go to the front desk to sign in foe one. They are not reserved. First come first serve basis.
I believe you have to go in and ask someone, i would see about talking to a librarian about what your project is.
Yes, any PEORIA library. Not Phoenix, or Maricopa or any other library system library. Be sure to ask if you're not sure. If you return book to non Peoria library, you will be responsible for fines that accrue until book is received at Peoria library. If it doesn't get returned, you'll be responsible for paying for it.
