I have very mixed thoughts on WIlhelm Automotive. Took my vehichle in for an oil change which was done well, very well indeed; however my concern was with their service suggestions. 1) I put synthetic oil and their suggested service interval for that was 7,000 miles while the most common number I heard was 5,000. Besides, that is an 18 year old engine. Are you sure about 7,000 miles oil change interval? 2) Timing belt at 60,000 miles. That prompted online research that confirmed that number, but that's gotta be one terrible timing belt if you need to replace it every 60,000 miles. 3) Air filter replacement. I replaced it myself a couple of months before so that filter had < 10,000 miles on it. When I mentioned that fact they said "Well they do tend to get dirty." Well yes, but that particular filter was ok at the moment. 4) Somehow missed bad front shock absorbers and worn out sway bar linkages. My overall rating would be 3.5 out of 5 if I could do it on here. Giving them 4/5 just because my car didn't fall apart while driving. At least thanks for that.
