After reading all the reviews I was quite nervous about staying at this La Quinta and told the family we needed a backup plan if all the reviews were accurate. We all thought the staff members were pleasant, the room was perfectly acceptable, the continental breakfast was to par with other La Quinta's, and the location was good. Looks like the new ownership and management have worked to take care of past issues. Only suggestion I would have is to give the room floors another steam clean or at least mop and vacuum slightly better in-between guests. All was well and we would stay at this La Quinta again given the reasonable price and decent accommodations.

For the last 20 years this hotel has been our home away from home. It had an amazing atmosphere, the pool was very clean and warm, and the staff was very friendly. About 3 years ago everything changed. The hotel staff is very cold and non personable. When you get into the pool, the water is so cold it takes your breathe, and even though we called ahead this last trip and told them we would be arriving a little early with things that would melt, we were told in no uncertain terms that there would be no early check in; check In is at 3! The hotel as a whole has become too rigid and has lost its human touch. The negativity definitely affected this last stay.

Booked our room a month in advance through Booking.com and this was for my husband birthday. Got there after looking forward to this all day. When we arrived to check in we did went to our room opened the door and saw was 2 double beds and we paid for a king room. Went back to the front desk and told them that we didn't pay for 2 beds we paid for a deluxe king room one bed and that's what we wanted. They said they had no more king rooms and that their systems were down all day and they were under nee management and that was the only one that they had and we could push beds together. We said that we weren't going to. We called Booking.com and let them know they called front desk and told them that we shouldn't be charged and front desk said we would not. We then had to find a room at another hotel. Well got up next morning and checked our bank account and my card was charged. I then called the front desk and a man answered and said that he saw and that refund was pending manager approval and said that I was rude and he didn't have to put up with me and he didn't give me his name and said that he would tell all other staff not to take my call. Booking.com tried to call and find out what was going on and he put them on hold and hung up on them and when trying to call back no answer. We didn't even stay in the room we left. So I called corporate and my bank told the bank and disputed the charges. But after all of this. It really ruined my husband birthday. So today I called and was told that charges were reserved. But still we will never stay here

So far so good! Clean rooms and it doesn’t smell like smoke. The lobby area was pretty big and spacious. Free breakfast! Pretty good parking. The acoustics need work because I heard a dog barking, kids jumping and yelling. The continental breakfast was awesome. Made waffles, had some boiled eggs, a danish, and a cup of Joe.
