I had a really sad and awful experience there about 10 years ago and I just can never forget that...But my mother brings all her animals there and they're very compassionate and thorough. A little on the expensive side but the quality of care is very good.

We finally found our forever vet! We have a reactive Australian cattle dog who always has a difficult time at the vet, especially when it comes to getting his nails trimmed. Our first vet tried to aggressively medicate him, which did not help his reaction to getting his nails trimmed and would just make him a zombie afterwards. We tried another vet, who treated him like an aggressive dog, and told us that they couldn’t do anything for him unless he was sedated. They also quickly dismissed us when we tried to share any input about our dog’s behaviors. Going to Pitman Animal Hospital was a breath of fresh air. All of the staff is so wonderful and truly has a passion for animals. Our vet tech was incredibly thorough, super understanding, and honest. She listened intently to our concerns and made us feel at ease. We then met with Dr. LaFerriere who is absolutely incredible! I felt like she was not only a vet, but a dog therapist as well, lol. She took the time to talk to us and get to know our dog. She made sure the visit for him was comfortable and explained to us her policy of a “no fear exam.” She educated us on the reason behind our dog’s behaviors, and educated us on his breed’s characteristics and personality. She presented us with options and recommendations and created a plan for our dog to make his future visits and nail clippings safe and stress free. This was the first vet visit that our dog left wagging his tail! We couldn’t be more thankful for Dr. LaFerriere and the team at Pitman Animal Hospital. Their thoroughness and patience meant the world to us. Typically vet visits cause anxiety not only for my dog, but also for me and my husband because of how upset our dog becomes. We left Pitman Animal Hospital feeling such relief that our dog was finally understood. We look forward to future visits at Pitman Animal Hospital. Thank you all so much!

I feel very frustrated by this practice. They have been treating my cat for allergy for over 1vyear with no improvements. I called dr fite to talk about further steps but they did not want to leave a message for her and i could not see her. I asked to be seen by someonevelse but everybody were booked. They told mevto call every mornibg for cancellations whichbi did very early but they told me it was too late. They told me to go to urgentvcare. We went to cat clinic. The food i was given caused diarrhea. I requested televidit with dr erde and he was informative and told me to schedule with him in person i did that but when i weent fir visit they placed me with a dr thst i never met before who completely dismissed my concern I feel completely pushed away bythis practice and i have no choice but to go some place else
