Wonderful experience at New York Laser Vision. I've been going to this office for years. Always happy with my visits. Dr. Julia Giyaur is a great surgeon! I had a LASIK with her 2 years ago and very happy with my results and 20/20 vision! Dr. Katayeva is also a sweetheart! She is very professional, nice and I am checking my eyes with her and Dr. G every year! Staff was always helpful and kind. Beautiful office! I am very glad I found NYLV 4 years ago and would highly recommend to anyone!!!!

Awful experience. Was recommended to visit this office by Dr. Khrom personally. However, I’ve got a negative experience. Firstly, my sister got an absolutely wrong prescription for the glasses. As soon as we received glasses according to prescription from New York Laser Vision in another office, we were shocked: my sister couldn’t see at all. Had to come back to New York Laser Vision to solve this problem. It would be fine if the problem was solved in the right way. However, girl at front desk started to scream and argue. After she took a close look at the prescription and glasses, she talked to the manager. They realized , where was the mistake. Dr. Giyaur herself decided to recheck my sister's eyes and found out that results are different from how Dr. Katayeva checked. Front desk receptionist said that they will change glasses by office expenses for three days. Week later I called the office to find out where the glasses are, and front desk receptionist said she has no idea, she has never told us about three days frame and hang up the phone. I’m so disappointed the way this office treated patients. Avoid this place at any chance. P.S. I checked my vision at this office as well, now I’m not sure if it was correct. Moreover, not sure if they can bill my insurance under Dr. Giyaur name if I wasn’t seen by her at all. After all this tries, have no desire to call and get same thing.
