I brought my 15 year old son here last night for a heavy chest cough. He has been wheezing when he breathes and also has asthma. He also had already missed two days of school from a low fever. First, they took a person who signed in after me that didn't have a reservation either. Then, I made a reservation after waiting in the car a half hour and seeing multiple people taken before us. We then waited an additional half hour before I went in to check what was going on. It appeared they had forgotten all about us and somehow I was finally taken next. After waiting over an hour to be seen, a doctor checked my son for 5 minutes. She did nothing to check his respiration levels, despite me telling her he has asthma, but somehow the report we received said he was at 98% saturation. I am not sure how they came to that number since he wasn't asked to do a pulmonary function test. That test has always been standard over the years when he has a bad cough due to him having asthma. Needless to say, this was a waste of time and now I owe a copay for literally what I could have done from home.

Marlton isn’t even one star but the entire experience at Voorhees was a bar set high

This experience isn’t recent but I’m sharing in case either of the two medical professionals I saw are still there. I went here because I was experiencing shortness of breath. I felt like when I took a breath one my lungs wasn’t expanding all the way or like something was in the way blocking it. I was dismissed with anxiety despite me explaining I know that’s not what it is, and prescribed Xanax. I went back a day or two later saying once again it is NOT anxiety, and saw someone else who did run a couple tests and noticed a small abnormality on an EKG she did but said it may be nothing and could just be from my trying to take a deep breath. She suggested I go to my family physician though I didn’t have one at the time. Two weeks later I was rushed to the ER because I couldn’t breathe. There I had a chest x-ray, and CT scan done and found out my gall bladder was severely infected and needed to be removed asap. The medical practitioner here dismissed me with “anxiety”, prescribed Xanax, meanwhile my gall bladder was on the brink of turning me septic as my lactic acid and WBC counts were off the charts when the ER did bloodwork. Hopefully he’s no longer at this location and has more experience under his belt so he actually listens to patients. Be your biggest advocate. You know your body.

I recently went to this center. Staff was nice but they were short on doctors and billed my insurance $400.00 for a 5 minute visit. No labs, xrays, etc. Just literally having the doctor look at me and write a script. I now am responsible for 200.00 of a thoroughly over priced visit for which I waited 1.5 hours to be seen. That charge is ludicrous.
