Negative: I booked this hotel for my kids to play at the pool. The lazy river and the slides were closed as well as the main pool. I feel I very much overpaid for this hotel without this amenity!

They threw out stuff out in the hallway an hour before we we’re going to check out someone could have stolen our stuff we were very upset! The lazy river or the slides don’t work as well. Staff was friendly atleast.

Great staff and service. The staff was always friendly, cheerful and very helpful. Breakfast was fresh and hot and lots of choices. Especially loved the fresh cut fruit like cantelope, honey dew melon and strawberries. Vlad the manager was always smiling and helpful he was a pleasure to work with. I was upgraded to the king suite when I arrived in 306.

This hotel was the best value I’ve ever had redeeming Bonvoy points. I can’t believe it’s a category 1 despite its fairly remote location. The indoor water park is showing its age, but it is super fun and my kids had a blast. The breakfast was the best I’ve seen at a Fairfield. It had a great variety of hot items, fresh fruit and packaged take-away items. The rooms and common areas were clean and well maintained. Coin operated laundry worked well. I don’t know if my travels will bring me back to Gillette but if they do this is where I’m staying.
