I just want to thank everyone in the neurology unit and tech team , you were all amazing. Tahnee, Ted , Evelyn, Tim- you all deserve the best this world has to offer. Sara and Gina, thank you both for all you do. Sara, you are one incredible human. Thank you, Dr. Cruz for getting me my answers. I wish I could into detail on just how special I found all of my interactions. Thank you for understanding my fear I felt a little kindred spirit in you all.

Everyone under the roof at Mercy was absolutely amazing. My husband was blessed to be treated by Angels. The Love and care that they all gave, to my Husband will never be forgotten. They all cared for him as if he was there Loved one. Thank you to the guidance of Angels through the difficult surgery and the blessed hands of the Doctor. Thank you,

My husband has been in and out of Mercy general downtown for last 3 months due to complications of CHF. He is a cardiac patient, and now he is about to be an LVAD recipient. I have to say that all this time we’ve been there we have received nothing less than excellent care starting with amazing sensitive caring nurses, and doctors. We have been in other hospitals but this one exceeds everyone by far 100%; all the nurses are always so attentive respectful and kind. We have received nothing but the best care possible starting by the nurses giving my husband bed baths accommodating everything and giving him all the Kleenex wipes, even ordering his meals in the kitchen etc., everything he needs to make his stay comfortable we are so blessed and we are so grateful for the care and support we have received on these very difficult stressful moments that my husband and I have been through I will forever be grateful to Mercy General Hospital and all the amazing doctors, nurses, MSW, kitchen and janitorial staff. God bless you all angels in disguise.❤️❤️

I took my mother there and she speaks little to no English. I was allowed to go in with her for her ct scan and additional test. All the nurses/technicians who saw her or took her to the ct scans allowed me there. While we were waiting for her to finish the IV. One black female nurse comes and tells me that I need to leave and that I was not allowed here. When told that my mother does not speak English well. She goes and says rudely “well that’s why we have interpreters and you need to leave”. So all my time I spent waiting 5+ hours with my mother all the other nurses did not tell me that I wasn’t allow here yet allowed me to stay with my mother. But this one black female nurse didn’t want me there to translate or made sure they weren’t doing anything my mother was not aware of or understood.

I'm sorry, but no I do not. To Truthfully tell you I do not even know who Billy Mark Parker is. I'm sure if you are concerned about his services you can always contact the Better Business Bureau to see if he has any bad information on him there. Or I'll bet that they also have a medical site that you can also research on him check in with hospital services at Mercy General. Good Luck.
As far as I know Mercy General Hospital has a Fully Equipped Medical Emergency Room so they should be able to treat anything. But I'm also sure if they can not treat Cholera they Will get the patient taken where they can be treated.
I was told that valet parking is free and it is for the whole day. You can tip them if you want. Edit- I found out that on Saturdays and Sundays their parking lot (not parking garage) is free
Yes, Emergency services are available 24 hours
I strongly believe that their hours start at 9am to 9pm.....not quite sure cuz it been a long time for me, since I used to work for Mercy General.
General visiting hours are from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. unless otherwise indicated by a physician or nurse. Some patient care areas, such as the Family Birth Center and the Intensive Care Units, have special policies for visitors. For specific hours, please check with your nurse.
I would think that the answer to that question is; Yes. If you're having a Medical Emergency. Just check yourself into the ER. By law All Hospitals have to give Emergency Medical Treatment to Anyone, Having a Medical Emergency. No Matter What Their Ethnic Background, Region, and Whether or Not They Have Insurance. So just go into the ER, and Check Yourself In.
One on Howe Avenue or down in downtown more. Not sure of exact location.
By law they can't not accept your inaurance. They can't refuse you care regardless or type of insurance you have.
Call the security department
No
Yes
To know if they are still in the Hospital call the switchboard. To get an update on their status contact their nurse. But if the patient hasn't given THEIR permission for You to receive an update then the nurse CAN NOT give ANY INFORMATION OUT. There is a FEDERAL LAW THAT PROTECTS THE PATIENTS PRIVACY. IT'S CALLED " THE PRIVACY ACT ".
Yes on the J st side
I would go to the HIM office located in the south side 1FL
Better off if checking in at a psychiatric facility.
Never does. However, it is recommended patients not to be visited after 10 as they need as much rest as possible.
I don't think so
Yes they do when indicated
Context?
Not too sure but i think u need to go downtown to records dept. Birth/death etc downtown behind sac county jail. Or call social worker at mercy general she should b able to get u n rt direction.
There are no animals allowed unless they are service animals.
Parking is only free only weekdays. For weekends, you can either park in the garage or in the medical plaza for free
Yes.
Anytime you aren't sure where to go, if you come in the front of the hospital, in the main lobby there's a help desk. ... Unfortunately it can be a longer walk that way, but it's less walking then just getting lost. While I only ask staff when they aren't rushing somewhere, I have always been helped when I ask a random employee where to find something - they know hospitals are maizes & then to be helpful & friendly. (P.S. My memories a bit sketchy, but I think you can find the outpatient surgery on the side with the ER... Also, if you have to go after business hours, your best bet is to ask the security officer.)
Do i talk to the social worker about a death certificate
Hello Tuong, Thank you for reaching out. We do offer dialysis treatment. For more information, we recommend you reach out to your primary care physician. Thank you!
Hello! Thank you for reaching out. Any of our general cardiologists at Mercy General including Dr. Bhaskar, Dr. Randhawa, Dr. Orakzai, and Dr. Nguyen would be appropriate for the management of these diagnoses. We are happy to help connect you if it’s helpful. Just let us know! Thank you!
