Update: If you are looking for a secure place to keep your stuff, this place is not the place to go. The gate is broken 3-4 times a year. Sometimes 3 weeks at a time. Meanwhile, there are break-ins and not the safest environment, especially at night. In July I asked for a manager to call me back...crickets. Later in July I asked for a call again...still crickets. August, same thing...more crickets. Well, saying crickets I guess is not accurate, they actually make noise and all I have gotten is silence. Since I opened my unit, nearly 4 years ago, I have had issues with the online payments and customer service has yet to be able to fix it. Two weeks ago, I tried to make a payment in person and they were randomly closed. Said go to another location, they were supposed to be open. I went and they were closed. Tried again the next day...same result. The next weekend I again went to both locations, the first was not open and the second was temporarily closed and I had to try and come back an hour and a half later. I wasn't able to make it back in time before they close. Mind you, these random office closures have been happening for over a year. Today I finally made it to a location and they were open. The manager was in and I was told she was not a gate technician and it is an old system and there is nothing she could do about it. She then told me I had 2 options, I could stay where I am and not have a secure unit, or I could move to the newer location and if the gate goes down I will have zero access to my unit. I was also told that despite being told it is a gated unit it is not actually in my contract that the gate has to be working. I guess actually getting what you paid for isn't a priority here. They have no problem raising your rent every year, but they do have a problem proving the services advertised. Working on finding a more secure location with better and more reliable service. January 2022: Price was good for awhile and they raised the price. I have had nothing but trouble with online payments and I can't make payments over the phone without being charged extra. So I have to come in, in person, which isn't always great with my busy schedule, so then the payment has been late a few times. Then they have been randomly closed a couple of times when I could get in. Found out today the person was there just out on site doing things, but there was no sign stating that or a way to get ahold of her, which is a little frustrating. Otherwise, the facility has been pretty clean and the ladies at the front desk are always happy to see you and help in any way they can.

They told you that should keep the lock that they issued you? When I first got my unit, the lock and keys were included in the move in cost. Like $10 or $20. When I returned the unit, there wasn't anything to sign and no inspection. They told me to keep my lock and keys (since I paid for them). They just said to leave the door open without a lock so that they could "inspect it" and see that it was swept out and I was out.
