I have signed my solar agreement but not started the installation process. I worked with Logan, who was very patient with many, many questions and through weeks of me checking details of the process everywhere I could. Logan was easy to work with and had a great deal of information. When he didn’t know something, he said so and then researched it for me. He has been great to work with so far!

In February we signed a contract with Summit Solar to get our solar panels put in. After a long wait they finally came out at the beginning of July. They didn’t finish the job and left a big hole and machinery in our yard. Finally after three weeks, someone came and picked the machinery up; however, Amy stopped returning texts about when they will actually come and finish the job. Now we are left with a bunch of metal on our roof and no solar panels. Save yourself the headache and go with a different company!

Sara Kinsella was amazing! As my one year installation anniversary passed, I attempted to contact my rep at Summit Solar (they had moved on) with no luck. I contacted the company through the online phone number and got Sara ... she knew everything! And knew it right away. I felt like I was talking to someone that had in-depth knowledge of my account, knew specifics about solar in my state (Illinois), and was super pleasant the whole time. I got all my questions answered (as well as documents and tax advice I didn't know I needed!). So happy I got Sara when I called.

Yes we do offer solar panel installation in Rockford IL. Actually we have quite a few installations in that area.
OH MY GOD!!! That is Terrible customer service, very expensive and bank breaking...I believe in advocating for myself in times like these. Have you found others in this situation? Talked to the states attorney office? Shared experience with other Solar Groups/Companies? You may get information to dig yourself out. I am so thankful you shared your experience. I am going to be a weirdo and go talk to people in my neighborhood that has recently installed. If I get information I think will help you I will post it here. So check in just in case and I would love to hear of any updates.
Hey Randy, We are currently installing Heliene 300w monocrystalline (made in Minnesota) for standard applications and Solaria 350w monocrystalline panels (made in California) for high-efficiency applications. These are subject to change, but all of our panels will have a minimum of 25-year linear production warranty.
