The solar system does not produce enough power to offset electric company bill. I called to have a solar system to offset my electric bill. Thank You

Spam artists! I have asked to have my number removed from their call list multiple times and they will not stop calling! Masking their number with fake numbers to bait you into answering and overall an annoying company. If I were to get solar, it wouldn't be from this hyper aggressive group.

I would not recommend Sun Solar to anyone. Like many other recent reviews, I had a horrible experience. This company has a huge communications problem. I understand mistakes happen, but there is no excuse for refusing to communicate because you want to hide those mistakes. I have no trust in this company and I hope you will do as much research into them prior to signing. Please get other quotes from other companies before making your decision. They charged me for the system before the original application was even approved and weeks before the system was operational. From the start, they failed to show up to our scheduled appointment. They called me later and apologized, so I gave them a second chance. By this time, I had already received a quote from Shine Solar so I wanted to compare and make an informed decision before buying. Sun Solar's system cost less than Shine Solar's, but when I informed Shine Solar I was going with Sun Solar, they offered to match their price and throw in a free portable generator. Since Sun Solar was local (Springfield, MO), we decided to go with Sun Solar. The sales representative on more than one occasion sent our personal information to someone else and we received someone else's personal information. He also gave us false information which the company later stated it was due to him being new. Sun Solar installed my system prior to the application being approved to install it from the electric cooperative. They led me to believe that the application had been approved so they could move forward with the install but in fact it had been rejected twice and was needing corrections. I attempted to communicate with Sun Solar on multiple occasions about the application status but received no response back. I looked over Sun Solar's google reviews and saw the market manager response to bad reviews along with his contact information so I reached out to him for help. He was very friendly, understanding and helpful. The following Monday I was called by Sun Solar's project manager. I informed her I looked into the application process and I wanted a date of when the final part of the application was sent into the electric cooperative. At this point it had been over a week since the city approved the permit for the installation of the solar system. By law, the electric cooperative only has 21 days to approve from when you submit the final part of the application. The project manager informed me at this point that the application that had been originally submitted on July 28, 2022 and resubmitted on August 16, 2022 was still not approved. The electric cooperative was quick about approving or rejecting and asking for corrections. Sun Solar, however, takes weeks to make corrections and resubmit the application. I was told Sun Solar couldn't submit any further documents until the original application was resubmitted and approved. I was told once the electric cooperative approves the application, they would then be able to submit the final documents for the application. Once the application was approved, Sun Solar asked me if they could wait until later in the afternoon the following day to submit the final part of the application to the electric cooperative so it would appear they had time to install the system. I asked how that would make any sense if our permit for the installation through the city had been approved a week prior. I was told they wanted to keep a good working relationship with the electric cooperative and they probably wouldn't pay close attention to the date. They submitted it the following afternoon and the application was approved later that day. Now the system is running, they have had to correct our final documents three times. We signed our contract with Sun Solar on June 27, 2022 and the system was operational October 12,2022 (107 days). I will say the installation crew was a great bunch of guys. They were very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. Please do your research and make an informed decision.

David, we do have battery options - Tesla and Generac. If you'd like, give us a call at 417-413-1786 and we can assist you.
Amber, great question. So this is heavily going to be determined by the number of panels that are on your roof - and this is determined based on your home's consumption. We offer free, no pressure consultations where we can get you a custom quote and also have a better idea of what a removal and re installation would look like, should that ever be needed. Feel free to reach out directly to schedule a consultation by calling 417-413-1786.
Good afternoon Betty, there are a lot of costs in both labor and supplies in order to remove and reinstall a solar energy system. We try to complete the work as cost effectively as possible for our customers but are not able to do so for free. That is great if a company is able to offer that to customers but I would be interested in seeing how they are recouping those costs.
No, there are not, at this time you do need to own the property for sun solar to install solar.
