Ordered a 4" Gate valve through American Precision Supply. The experience ordering the gate valve was great, however when it came time to ask questions on whether the valve came with Flange gaskets it was nothing but a run around. it stated in the spec sheet that it required a certain kind of gasket but did not state if it was included. yet the gentleman that works at the company told me that whatever it said in the spec sheet is what it came with. I needed these parts on a specific date and because I did not get gaskets with the valve it pushed my plant water main shutdown to when our facility is back up at full staff. Which is a huge inconvenience. I would strongly recommend using another source to purchase your plumbing supplies. one that does not tell you to tell them what kind of gasket you need, and they will try to source it for you. especially when the spec sheet tells you the gasket type. I guess shopping local is a lost cause. It almost was like I was inconveniencing the guy to do his JOB. I called another company, Not Local. Gave them the spec sheet and BAM I had the parts I needed with no more discussion. good luck if you do business with them. hopefully, you will matter as a customer!
