My bill for Oct was 5 times hire than ever. 18,700 gallons used. I went out to check the meter and it is running showing water is going somewhere but we are not using any. Called their emergency number on Saturday to tell them of possible leak. Lady refused to be interested and told me to call back on Monday. Recently road construction crews worked around my meter and I suspect they damage it. Thousands of gallons going to the center of earth and this lady did not care.

Waiting for disability. Went to welfare filled out all forms. They faxed it n these blankets blanks still shut me off for 100 bucks... went back to welfare n they confirmed they faxed it and mailed the copies today n they still shut me off... I've had it with this state... can't wait to sell my house n get the he'll outta here

I’m a contractor, had a customer call for some minor repair work on the shower. I needed the water shut off to make the repairs and the customer does not have an accessible shut off valve in the house so I told them they would need to schedule to have the water shut off at the street. They called a week ahead of time and we’re told that the water would be shut off first thing in the morning. After waiting for three hours the customer called and was told that it’s an all day appointment and they have no idea when the water will be shut off, needless to say but the customer is not happy because I have to bill them for the time spent waiting and Missouri American could care less. On top of all this the customer will be out of their house for the night because they won’t be able to get the water turned back on after the job is done. So Missouri American has taken this from a $100 job to a $400 job plus hotel cost. Good job guys. So glad I’m on a well and don’t have to deal with them.

Horrible! I thought Spire was bad. This is worse, if possible. Automated system doesn’t work, sends you a link to sign up for new service that ultimately routes you right back to the 800# but not before it asks you to fill out your account number and info to request service…? What?! I don’t have an account number. You can’t make this stuff up. Get online and click the turn service on/off link and I kid you not, the opening line is “starting service has never been so easy” then leads you to a hyperlink that goes to a blank page. Then you call the 800# back and it says your wait is 27 minutes, you choose to hold and your wait time immediately doubles. Such a joke!

I live in a townhome and the neighbors have just cause a major leak and idk what to do they said they call you guys and that was over an hour ago so what am I supposed to do with over an inch of water covering my entire floor.

Do you have a landlord you could call. If it was me I would call the water company myself. You posted this 8 hours ago. I'm sure by now at least the water has been turned off What a mess 😢
