Great place to work when I started. Slowly became very corporate. You became a number. Management does not care about employees. The company even offers an employee appreciation week which is great. But local Management let it be known that they hate doing it. Hate spending the money on it. Management doesn't listen to drivers advice on routing. Or even going into certain places with a semi. Favoritism runs rampant in the Louisville location. The more they like you the better your route. If you find out you have a major medical problem they will fire you. Because that's what happened to me. After 10 years of service. 10 years of starting on the dock. Going above and beyond the required duties. Mentoring new people. Bettering the facility anytime I could. Then w&r and recovering a ton of money for the company. After years of getting passed over for driver I finally get my chance. Every single review I had was exemplary. I had always been a go to guy for management. Being able to do anything they needed. Told them I had 5 years to live and was suspended the next day. Fired the next week. I thought these people were my friends. My family. But I was nothing but a number to them.
