If you are looking for a place that makes work feel like home then this is the place to be. Staff is amazing and so are all the residents!

I placed a review about Otterbein being the horrible place it is about a month ago. I highly recommend you read it since the decision to enter the facility is an expensive and life changing event. I’m writing this review to show the last 10 or so reviews are from employees to drown out the bad reviews they have received from myself and others. Instead of spending your time to fix your rating on google try fixing your facilities and hiring competent employees.

So let me first start off by saying that this place it great the nurses and the aides are great. Like any nursing home there are things that need to be fixed and addressed. I feel that the biggest thing coming from an aides view is the Communication kitchen they refuse to make the adequate amount of food they have an attitude when they have to make extra food they refuse to hear from the aides that pass the food that people want more. By far don’t understand the problem when our goal is the resident care. But I give this place a four out of five because everywhere needs improvement and I hope I see it. I do love that they are upgrading the building and fixing a lot so a move in the right direction.
