Window World Installed 13 windows in my home. Everyone I worked with from sales to the installation team were extremely thorough and professional- explaining all aspects and completing the job. Originally they were scheduled to come a few months out, but had an opening and we’re able to actually do the install a couple of months ahead of time. Great experience - I would definitely recommend.

Horrible! First, the install was delayed a MONTH a week before it was due to go in. We had already removed window coverings and moved furniture, something they will not do. Then, the installers had trouble getting the windows to fit. They blamed the sales rep who measured, very convenient since he was no longer with the company. The install took hours longer than expected and was rushed because of it. Some were installed upside down ( to make them fit better, they said) and some will not close without applying force on the bottom of the window. When I called to see what could be done, I was told by Scott “just learn to live with it”. Was never contacted again. The trim started falling off the front windows, so I called just about that and even texted pictures. The woman taking the call said “yes, that’s a problem. Someone will call you from service in 10 days.” That was on September 21 and we still haven’t heard anything. Take your money and your patience to a reputable company - this isn’t it.

Generally, replacement windows can be installed within 4-8 weeks from the date that the final measurements are taken. The type of window being installed and type being removed helps determine the amount of time needed to complete the job. On average each window takes about 30-60 minutes. Trim work and cleanup will require additional time to complete. An average job will take a single day.
Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Security sensors should also be removed and turned off by your security company. Please provide our installation expert with a clear path to the window(s) being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows as they may fall during removal or installation.
Window World installs replacement windows year-round. An average installation will take only one day. Our crews install one window at a time and are trained to do what they can to minimize heating/cooling loss. The energy savings from your new windows will recover any incremental energy costs incurred during their installation many times over during their lifetime.
The majority of our replacement windows are installed from the outside. In some situations, it may be necessary to install from the inside. On the day of installation, your installation expert will assess your unique situation and explain the process that will best suit your home.

After installing your new replacement windows we remove all old windows from your property and dispose of them properly. If you wish to keep your old windows or storm windows, please notify the installation crew as soon as they arrive for your installation.

Depending on type of glass. we got 6 double hung w/argon plus frames 2nd tier from top. 3400.00. very good company to deal with.
Window world does houses. Safelite does windshields for minivans. If you have sensors it is best to take it to the safelite store. We just got ours done there and they were very good.
