The Washington state ferries seems good, this one as well. I took the first one of the day at 5:35 am. The ticket for car+driver costs $20.90. Everything went well and smooth

A fun family experience! For 1st-timers, the fare is about $16 for car + driver, and other passengers are free. You pay at the toll booth, and they direct you to an aisle to park and wait. People get out of their cars and go grab ice cream nearby, being sure to return about 15 mins before departure. You drive onto the ferry and are directed into the proper lane to park. Then you're free to go up to the indoor passenger deck or the top, outdoor observation deck to enjoy the ride. We spotted a sea lion swimming alongside. The announcer will inform you of when you should return to your vehicle. It's only a short 30-minute ride.
