We had high hopes for this restaurant, but it was an unfortunate experience. The food was mostly disappointing considering the price point, and the service was not very good. The wait times were long and our server was only half paying attention and seemed to have a bit of an attitude over the smallest requests. The Caesar salad with salmon was pretty good, the spinach salad was bland and sloppy. Our kids ordered the chicken tenders and fries and the fries came out so burnt that they couldn’t eat them. The only meal that seemed worth the price was the kids spinach ravioli.

Beautiful seating with views of the water. Brie toast with olive pepper relish, Was to die for. I got the Korean BBQ per waitress recommendation. She was spot on - I ate every bite. My partner got the jambalaya and lobster bisque. She loved jambalaya but the bisque not enough lobster. I always tell don’t get lobster unless you are in New England. We will be back again!

It was our first day in Whidbey island and we got recommended to try this restaurant. We did trusted our friends and I am glad we went there. Great food choices from various countries, cocktails, and wine. Service was great and we recommend it to anyone visiting the the beautiful island.

I was excited to try this place with my brother, I came to visit from LA and decided to make it an adventure, by taking the ferry to the island and drive up to Bellingham. I checked out the reviews and ppl hyped this place up. So I had to try this restaurant on a hill with an water front view. From the time we pull up, to check our name on the list it started, there was no host to take our name down. So I waited 10min standing there, until they even acknowledge me and my brother. So the man said we can seat now but it would be outside, It was so cold not even the heaters were helping. So then our waitress came took, our order for drinks and appetizers. The wines we tried were very dry and she was out of the ones we wanted to try. So I ended up with Huntsman Cab. It was not the greatest wine. I order Mussels and Clams appetizer and Squash Hush puppies. I liked the the Hush puppies they were delicious. For my main dish I order Seafood Jambalaya. That was great but the Mussels and Clams I didn’t like. Me thinking that, since I didn’t like it. She would’ve taken it, out of the bill, but she didn’t so that was bummer. Also the other thing she brought all the food at once even the appetizers. Then we asked to see if there was any open tables inside because it was getting cold, she said she would check, and came back and said, no open tables. I went to use the restroom 5 min later and I saw like 7 tables open. I don’t think I would come here again, they need to improve the customer service experience and not lie to the customer.

Don't think so pvt owned.
Outdoor seating only. Distanced tables. Staff is masked. They seem to be doing a very good job
I agree with the above comments! Great food.
Gordon prepares many vegan, and other dietary meals.Bet he could do any kind of dinner, if he was notified.Fabulous food, don't miss the opportunity to enjoy his fine dining!!Well worth it.
Reservations are essential on week ends and during the tourist season. If you tell them it is a special occasion they will be sire to give you a window seat
