Caused additional damage by not securing a mirror that was left on my wall the mirror fell and cause extensive damage to my home I would never use them and would not recommend them at all!

We will start off with minor items, but lead up to an employee snooping through the home owner's personal belongings. Long post - sorry. (EDITED/UPDATED at the end). On a more minor level, they were told to please call ahead so the home owner could leave work and meet them at the house, but at least twice they just showed up without calling. Minor. Once the floor work was underway, the home owner left and the other resident went to the other end of the house, and within a couple of minutes, one of the Servpro employees (the lead person that day, actually) left the work area, and began snooping through the owner's work desk, work table, etc. Picking up multiple very personal items with personal info on them, and handling them, reading the personal info on them, etc. It's still unknown if anything small was taken or photos were taken of anything. I will point out, the younger employee with him that day did not seem to participate in this. There was a camera in the room and the employee was confronted about this within minutes. He did not try to deny what he did - was freaked out, and said, "I'm getting a divorce!". We still have no idea how getting a divorce gives you reason to go through a customer's personal belongings (?). A manager/supervisor was contacted and the video was sent to them. They came back and finished the work. Conflicting comments were given by that manager - to one resident he said he was shocked because that was "one of his best" employees, but to the home owner, he said he was glad for the video as, "He was looking for a reason to let him go". The work was done by the manager and a crew. We were told a construction crew "affiliated with them" would finish the work, but after an initial contact, we could not get the person from that team to call back or show up. We switched to another company after that. I am not suggesting that everyone at this location is someone who would do what that employee did. But he did come across as VERY professional and knowledgeable on the day he came over. We would never have guessed this guy would do what he did - and yet, did it. My point in this is that I strongly encourage people to spend a few dollars on what are now very inexpensive indoor security cameras that usually have some way to save videos in the cloud, or on a memory card in the camera. USE THEM whenever ANYONE is working on your home and view every clip they save. My rating is based on their not calling ahead, the employee's actions, conflicting comments by the manager after-the-fact, and an unresponsive affiliate team that was supposed to complete the work. ADDED/UPDATED 10/6/21: A different manager contacted the other resident to address what happened... after this review was posted. He clarified the "snooping employee" was let go, and was apologetic and said these are not their standards. He asked and made sure our damage repairs were done, but didn't address their affiliate not having followed through with showing up, etc (we had to use an unrelated company in the end). The call was appreciated, but my rating remains at two stars because again, the finishing work wasn't followed through among a couple of other issues (and a couple of other minor ones I simply didn't mention here due to space).
