Anyone that want to get the right training skills and help with driving go to Katlaw. The front office staff was great of setting up the process of getting me into the school even if you didn't have the whole amount to pay for your tuition they will work with you. Ms. Halen is a good lady she helped me with the pretrip even after school before I took the test to make sure I pass. Brandon helped me with giving me a extra week to train after he saw I wasn't ready to that the skills test. The staff will work with you if they see you are trying. After I failed the road test Brandon gave me a week to train without paying to train for the test. Ms. Diana showed her support after I passed the test, the school has several recruiters that comes to the school to recruit students. The price is right to get your license at the school.

DON'T GO TO THIS SCHOOL IT IS A SCAM!! My boyfriend paid $4,000 to go. Went to this school for three weeks and had to drive 2hrs everyday. then on test day he had to drive 2 hrs away and he missed one thing and they told him to come back in a couple of weeks. It was devastating since we are starting a family and he desparately needs to work right now. He studied night and day and they just laughed as if our livelyhood was not at stake! When does life get better if the road to get there is unjust. Please don't waste your time here.

We do have a financing program. Please call for details.
Yes, it's around $3,500. There are financing options available though.
No
It was a urine test. However, truck companies are coming directly to the school hiring. So, I suggest you get it cleaned up before you start school. They can put you out of the school if you test positive!
You will be drug tested when you go get your DOT physical the school itself does not test you but with any job if your appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol their could be consequences
Yes we do pre-trip class every Monday anyone can attend for $100

Hello Joyce, please give us a ring at 877-252-8529 to speak to a Katlaw career advisor. We look forward to hearing from you!
they have weekend class
Class A is in November I believe. You can call them and ask to be sure.
Doesn't affect you from attending. If you want to take an over the road job you may have to get permission to cross state lines.
Absolutely!
$1500 if you pay upfront. I think its around $1700-$1800 if you finance. Ms. Helen is the Class B instructor outside and she is great. Ms.Gwen is the best too. You have to put the work in though, so you get what you put in. Good luck
Hi Antoine, please give the school a call at 877-252-8529 so these questions can be answered. We look forward to hearing from you!
They have financial aid programs in Georgia that you can apply for and Kat law accepts they do them for class A and B

Please give us a call at (678) 945-1900 and we can look into what assistance programs you may qualify for
ALL testing must happen in a manual transmission truck. If you do not take test in manual transmission truck, you will have an automatic only endorsement on your license.
You would have to contact the office and speak with administration
Yes
You can get a CDL at 18 you just can't cross any state lines driving a commercial vehicle until you are 21. So yes we can get you licensed. Also keep in mind that most employer's insurance policy may require you to be 21.
We may be able to help you get a grant or get a trucking company to cover most of your tuition but no you won’t find paid training anywhere until after you obtain your CDL
They have a weekend class
Lowell, you can come to school and obtain your CDL as long as you do not have a CDL disqualification. It may or may not affect your ability to get a driving job depending on the charge and how old it is. Give us a call we deal with this frequently and we are happy to discuss it with you.
