This place I'm sure serves its purpose locally. However it's the worst rink I've seen in years. The ice surface and boards are actually dangerous. It's tough , I know they are an independent operation and trying but the facilities are poor.

I don't like to leave bad reviews cause I get everyone has bad days, but seriously, this place was just sad. I've played hockey my entire life and this place takes the cake as the worst rink I've ever been to. On the smaller sheet of ice there was at least an inch of water on top and literally the ice was melted all the way through in some areas. The larger sheet looked okay, aside from quite a bit of standing water. I honestly can't believe this place hasn't been condemned. Leaving 2 stars cause I feel bad leaving just 1.

The instructor seemed very good and my teen daughter is learning a lot. She had been taking lessons there for a year. Not fancy but that makes the cost low.

The temperature inside the rink is about 54 degrees in the rink. We suggest dressing in layers, that way if you do get hot you can always take something off.
We are open from 1-3pm for the public on Saturdays. The rest of the day is private bookings.
I assume you are talking about hockey, so I can tell you that the rink doesn't decide who is on what team. First you will need a parent to contact NKYHA if you are not registered. From that point forward NKYHA will guide you on your next steps. http://www.nkyha.com
