Went there about 5 times for plantar warts. Nurse practitioner literally only spent a few minutes with me each time. Felt like they were just trying to get me in and out, wasn’t being listened to or that my problem mattered. Not recommended.

It took them a while to get us back in the room and then took another good 30 minutes before they came into the room. The Doc was very nice and froze off a few warts and was able to comfort my child while she was doing so. We will continue to use this place for all our skin care needs!

Initial appt all went well, prescribed meds and gave samples of the meds. However we had a little bump with insurance not approving and now we need to figure out how can we get something different for the issues. It has been over 2 weeks and we still don't have a prescription to pick up at the pharmacy. As of today, 3 messages left and still can't get the prescription at pharmacy filled. Feeling frustrated and unnoticed.

I liked the doctors but communication with the offices is next to impossible. When you call, you never get a human to speak to and leaving a message isn’t a choice. You can ask for a callback but the last 4 times I tried that, no one ever called back. As a result, I went to the office to make an appointment and was told I should have left a message. The receptionist was less than cordial and I told her i had asked for a callback multiple times but had never received a callback, she told me they had over 1500 Calls a day. A bit hard to believe. I canceled an appointment by email and later got an email asking to confirm that appointment. When I clicked on the link to cancel again, the link never opened. I certainly hope they don’t try to charge for this appointment.

We perform Mohs surgery at our Lexington location. We have one of the only licensed and certified surgery centers in the state dedicated to skin cancer surgery.
Hello! Mohs is a precise surgical technique, performed in our onsite surgical suite, in which thin layers of cancerous tissue are removed and examined until only cancer-free tissue remains. Mohs is done in stages, and the lab work is performed immediately, on-site, in our licensed and accredited medical lab. This method ensures the cancer has been completely removed, usually same day, rather than sending the tissue sample to an offsite lab for results days later. Here’s a great article from the American Academy of Dermatology, explaining the procedure in more detail: https://www.aad.org/public/diseases/skin-cancer/types/common/melanoma/mohs-surgery
