If my car was involved in an accident and vehicle is totalled and towed to your guys lot am i allowed to come get mine and my kids important personal property out of my vehicle court documents id etc.

Yes. Generally speaking. If the vehicle is in your name and you have proof of ownership you may remove personal belongings from a vehicle. However, if the insurance company has picked up the vehicle you will have to report to the insurance company lot. Just call ahead when you want to come as the tow yard is only open to the public during regular business hours. Of course, if the police have a hold on the car for any reason you may need additional documents.
