Ordered a saw for my next hiking trip two weeks out. Never arrived, and REI cant even cancel the order to allow me to order it thru someone else. This is the second time this has happened to me. Im done shopping at REI. They have no clue what they are doing.

Love the fact that this place allows someone to make a 1,200 card purchase without asking for id or something. I was hacked and someone tried to make a purchase here. If it wasn't for my bank notifying me I would have lost 1,200 from my bank.

Went in to get fitted for the right backpack yesterday and the staff was amazing!!! Went above and beyond!! A big shout out to Amiy in camping and Jake who relieved her for her break! I’m so thankful that I received their help, saved me lots of pain and suffering on the trail, but also money. THE BEST EXPERIENCE in retail, I’ve ever had!

Need I say more. This store is smaller than many others around, but still has the REI feeling. One will find everything one needs but the volume and diversity of products is not as big as other stores in the franchise. Service is great and people is knowledgeable. Cannot go wrong visiting and shooing in this pace.

No. REI Membership is optional but not related to Cabela's Club.
You are lucky, we have to drive 4 hrs to get to one. 45 min really isn't that far. I would love it if REI was only 45 min away.
The official policy is service dogs only, but if they're socialised and well behaved the only thing you'll be asked is if someone can pet them.
No you don't just have to practice social distancing and wear a mask
I not sure
In the shoe department
Dat2ra, pretty much all of the gear is specific to trees; rock climbing gear does not meet the specs
They do not. With the year return policy, commitment to fair wages for employees, and the ~10 percent of profits they donate yearly, they do not offer price matching.
They will give full safety and operational instructions when you purchase a bike or just simply go in with questions. Organized rides are left to volunteers. Look up the Sacramento wheelmen or cycle Folsom. They have dozens of organized rides every week.
11 am on Sundays 10 am all other days of the week
Check out Costco next door. They have some wool socks on sale..
