Unfortunate that we were told we had to replace the air conditioning unit after 7 years of comparable use at our condo. The prices are outrageous but the service is good. These days you work with contractors and few actual company employees. I did ask that an e-mail be sent to a company employee but I didn't get a response. I'm sure it's a tough business personnel wise and enormously profitable.

The AC install they did a few years ago was pretty good and they do a good system follow up a year later. A few years later we had an issue and they were quick to come out and troubleshoot the issue. The issue was covered under warranty. When your AC or heat goes out it is never convenient and their availability and knowledgeable staff are top notch.

We have been members of their Smartclub for a few years, which usually pays for itself. We went with them for our ductless A/C and had a great experience from start to finish. Everyone at Standard is friendly and professional. They really know their stuff with older homes as well, and I felt the quality of their work was outstanding. Their technician Eli walked us through the setup with patience and made the install as pleasant as possible. Great job!

I first called Standard Heating and Air Conditioning 5 years ago and they performed some maintenance on my 22-year-old furnace. The technician was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We discussed the possibility of my old furnace failing during the winter and I decided to buy a new furnace and air conditioner. The units were installed 4 years ago and have functioned well ever since. Also, I have controlled my maintenance costs by joining Standard's Smart Club. For a small monthly fee, I am eligible for free periodic maintenance to ensure that my equipment will always function properly, and, as a club member, I go to the head of the line in case I might need emergency service. Yesterday, Ben arrived and performed my annual preventive maintenance service. It took an hour and he verified that I would have no problems during the next year. He did a great job. When friends ask for my recommendation, I always point to Standard Heating.
