I needed an eye exam and am new to the independence area. From the online contact form to the call back reservation to walking out the door with my prescription in hand and my retinopathy pictures being sent to my endocrinologist, the entire experience was clean, timely and professional. They have the latest equipment for diabetic eye pictures so no need for dilation. I appreciated their knowledge and skill. I’ll be going there from now on.

100000% recommend Independence Family Eye Care. My eye exam was actually THOROUGH and covered everything needed, and I was even able to try on the lenses that would be in my own pair and they were perfect to my vision. My glasses only took 5 days to come in and they fit me perfectly! I don’t usually take the time to write out one of these but after my past experiences at other vision places I felt that I had to. They’re kind, clean, professional, and don’t just throw a puff of air in your eye and slap a group of letters on a wall for you to read. I can see y’all!😂🫶🏼

Good afternoon, We are in network for most Cigna plans if there is a medical diagnosis. If you are referring to a vision plan, Cigna has many vision plans. We are providers with Eyemed and VSP for vision plans. Thank you!

Good morning! A comprehensive eye exam for a new patient is $120. This includes a glasses prescription and a complete health check of the eye including dilation. Our prices for glasses vary depending on which frame you pick and what style lens you pick. Starting October 1st we will have new value lens packages for as little as $99.00 for a single vision lens and frame.
