Wow if i could give 0 stars I would! I literally can’t make this up! Easily the shadiest experience I’ve had any type of “shelter” or “refuge”. To start, google says their hours start at 12pm on Sundays, I showed up at 12:20. There was only one car in the lot. I notice a sign on the door that says, “if door is locked, please ring bell.” Since it’s obviously after 12 and they should be open, I pull on the door and it opens freely. As I start to step inside I get a glance of an extremely cluttered and dirty front office, and the smell just hit me in the face it was awful. Like litter boxes and dirty cages and pee. and there was an employee (?) doing something, like busy work. I guess I scared her? She LITERALLY looks at me as I open the door and says “do you have a key??! How did you get in?!” I said “it was open…?” She said “oh sorry about that! How can I help you” and proceeds to walk outside towards me, and steps outside like she didn’t even want me coming in. I asked about any dogs they had available for adoption, and her answer was, “No I don’t really have any dogs right now for adoption, we’ll I’ve got a couple, but not really ready for homes… I have A TON of cats though. A TON.” this also confused me because I heard EASILY 10 dogs barking uncontrollably from somewhere in the building. Shady, weird, dirty, and unprofessional. I will be reporting this business to Animal Welfare.

I was wondering are you accepting dogs? my landlord gave me a week to get them out of the apartment im at, i currently have no where else to move to or have anyone to keep them for me until i could find a new place to move. i have 3 dogs, 2 are blood related and both females and i have a 8 month old boy who grew up around the girls.

We found a baby kitten that we believe the mom abandoned and we didn't know what to do and it was like 2 weeks old and still needed milk. So I just Googled animal places and found this place and it was 1130pm at night and she told us to come drop the kitten off! When we got there she already had a bottle warming up and she had her live comb ready to check it for lice which she was clean. She was the nicest lady to help us out and take care of it.

We are open by appointment for adoptions. We are full and not accepting animals at this time.
Sadly, the shelter is not open for walk-in visits due to staffing issues. If you are interested in volunteering or adopting, please call the number listed to set up an appointment. Thank you!
They will take him and heal his injuries. They take excellent care of all the animals in their care.
They’re only doing appointments right now for adoption but minors can volunteer they need all the help they can get
I have a 1 year old male, he's the cutest cuddles thing ever. I would keep him myself but my Apts won't let me
My daughter who volunteers there says she doesn't recall any under 1.
Check with them, they are very understanding
Hmm... We presently have a chihuahua mix that looks more like chihuahua than anything else - she's nervous, but she's sweet-tempered. That's about it - we have a lot more cats than we do dogs, so the breed selection is sparse. If you are interested, you should call and set up an appointment... and be prepared to be interviewed - our adoption process takes a bit of time, as we are thorough concerning our furry "guests."
Yes! There is one
This is a no-kill shelter
