Long overdue for this review. Friend and I stopped at Robert James on our way to the bourbon trail from Columbus, Ohio. Was very surprised by the delicious tater tots, wings (OMG) and chill vibe. Their bourbon was decent too. It's a small micro distillery and you can see the entire distillation and bottling process which is neat. This is a small gem that I would like to see existing for a very long time.

Great food! Amazing food. We came for the whisky and we were blown away by the great tasting food. Best wings. The service is wonderful. The owner of the bar is so friendly and engaging. I’ve not seen such raw passion for delivering a great experience for his customers. Go for the whisky. Go for the great food - or both!

Hi Susan - thanks for your interest in Robert James Distillery! Our Norwood production facility is not regularly open to the public, though we do host group events and educational tours/tastings at our facility. Our retail facility is RJ Cinema, Distillery & Taproom in Eastgate, next to Jungle Jims. At RJ Cinema, we sample and serve our Robert James spirits, as well as feature several specialty cocktails designed using our spirits. We hope to see you in Eastgate, or to host your group in Norwood, soon!
Rusty - The distillery in Norwood is open for private events only at this time. We invite you to visit our Cinema in Eastgate where we're serving our signature drinks 7 days a week. Coming very soon, you'll be able to purchase bottled spirits at our Cinema location as well.
Menu items do change periodically but it is all BBQ related. Come give it a try!
