Mayor of Seattle Bruce Harrell, you need to hire 5,000 police and sheriff's and not 500!! Only very few make the final cut after training so you need to increase the number hired. There is a HUGE Safety problem for the people in Seattle, business owners, and everyone in the area. It is unsafe to walk around downtown Seattle now because you are short staffed. There were only two Sheriff's working and covering the King County Sheriff's Office 516 Third Avenue Seattle, WA. They need more help! Please help the Sheriff's office! The city of Seattle people, Police, Sheriff's, Business owners, Residents, and no one else is safe until you hire an army of Police and Sheriff's. You also need more affordable housing, affordable rent, and support groups for the people working and the homeless walking the streets. You need Fundraisers for this cause. This is a SERIOUS problem in Seattle. It needs to be addressed immediately. God is here.

there are some homeless cars parking right behind our yard on the library parking lot everyday! Mayor Durkan give the executive on it !The homeless people made noise and put bare feet hanging on the car window while kids go in and out library! Does Mayor Durkan think these are the good example for children to learn? and she thinks it is Ok that the homeless people' s human right is much primary than the people who pay the property taxes? so disappointed with Mayor Durkan!

Unacceptable how the "leadership" of Seattle has ignored and in many ways supported the Drug and violence issues that plague this city. The Governor is no better than the filth we pass on 3rd street every day. The only difference is the (assumed) lack of drug abuse and the private mansion and body guards that surround her.

Seattle Mayer and city council are doing g a terrible job. It’s seems like all they care is to give permits for buildings. Roads needs much attention. I have been in Seattle over 40 years and never seen the city so ugly. It’s embarrassing to see my city like this. Looks like east los angels, graffitis everywhere tents and homeless everywhere not just downtown Seattle. It’s embarrassing. With summer near and thousands of tourists coming to Seattle for Alaska cruise. Please consolidate all these homeless people in a campus somewhere, like a military base. We have the land in Washington, let’s use it and get these people out of the street. We have the same problem with our jail populations, we have drug addict, mentally ill person, gang members all in our prison. We have pretty much the same people on our street as homeless so let’s put them in one big military style camp with medical staff and so on.

Her brain has been on vacation. I used to love to go to Seattle, Pike place, space needle ,mariners games, Seahawk games.we got our car broke into downtown with business and people all over. The side window was busted out. How does that happen ?
