Applied for a car loan and did not receive a formal decision for 5 business days. Tried working with the CS team and my loan app did not get reviewed by their management all this time. No sense of urgency, poor customer service and the worst loan process in the banking industry. Highly not recommend dealing with this incompetent credit union!

When you really need something, the service is terrible. Today I needed to send my daughter money for college books and she opened the program Zelle specifically to see if everything worked when sending one dollar to her, the dollar came. When it came to sending the money, it says I need to try later at least 10 times. I called the bank in Chicago and I know the bank is open until 1, but on the phone it tells me that it's closed. And in Paletine it's impossible to reach them so.

They do not respond to requests for feedback through their own website at all. Also on the site there are no details for an international payment to a client who has an account with them and issued an invoice. Complete disregard.

Membership is open to any person who is a member of the Selfreliance Association branches in Chicago, IL, Newark or Jersey City, NJ. Individuals join the Association when they stop in to become a member of the Credit Union.
Yes. It's not as sophisticated as some, but you can check balance, transfer funds, set up automatic payments. They also habe an app.
