Thank you all for my sweet baby boy. The adoption process was great, the staff was very pleasant and I'm very happy. My boy was called Sam at the shelter but he liked the name Lewis better. 😉 He's a happy guy and we are thrilled. Thank you for all you do.

Friendly staff. 4 stars because the kitten I got was so sickly it had goo coming out of its eyes and was all skin and bones because it was too young to eat on it's own. Glad I rescued it because I wouldn't have survived. The vet weighed her in at under 2lbs at a supposed 8 weeks old. The vet and myself do not think the kitten was 8 weeks. She's alive and well after almost 4 weeks with us

I'm am looking for a lab for my autistic grandson he loves dogs. Just lost his of old age
There is a fee for dropping off a personal dog or cat.
I know they are having a discount adoption fee right now. Call them at 360-740-1290
Yes, I adopted a wonderful dog 3 months ago from them
Post him on facebook
I just got a chuiwawa and his awesome friend all ready
All kinds there's no guarantee of breeds sex or age
To be more specific, they only euthanize animals that have illnesses that cant be fixed or will affect their quality of life.
Just call the shelter and ask. They sre always willong to help
Yes, after you complete a volunteer orientation class; call to find out the days and time of that.
Its around 30-40$ each. Maybe less
I don't know if they do that, but several vet offices in Centralia-Chehalis will.
You'll have to call them and find out if they have space available.
It's Sunday. So they are likely doing deep cleaning, training, or a number of other things needed to keep the place running properly.
Its around $175 just make sure you get verification on shots and watch out for kennal cough and parvo
Yes you can take the dog there at no cost to you. But if you can try to find someone to take the dog
$70 which includes spay/neuter. Rates may go up at the beginning of the year.
We donated dig food last weekend. We just called ahead and met us at the door. They were super happy
Ya, get a live animal trap. But what will you do with them when u trap them? Take to forest let me go
I have always gotten through. Are you dialing the correct number? 360-709-6230.
We got a dog there last month and it only cost us $100.
I would agree, just give them a call. They are great people there.
Yes they can help. Please call.
Call and find out
Agree. Call them
Agree with other answers. I have seen warning signs on cages about aggressive animal. But they don't hide it.
yes
That would be a good place to start working, if you have a means of transportation.
i don't know give them a call
I don't think so.n
You have to call and ask
The chehalis food bank, behind the fire station gives animal food out with the food they provide you with. It's not a lot and you can only go once a month, but it helps. You just need an electric bill to show proof of you living in Chehalis
I think they do. Also, maybe contact Twila Collins. She is a local cat lady that can help you.
Contact Twila collins
You should call and ask but I think at least 16
I think they will try to also. Should call them.
No
I adopted a big dog a while back and it was $70.00 which included neutering.
It's different literally every day.
We got one of the mossyrock german shepherds and another one of my sons also got one and was about $100 each. We are very happy.
Any breed you want you can probably find there at one time or another.
I believe anybody can volunteer, younger teens/kids have to have an adult with them though. If you go to an orientation, theyll tell you all you need to know.
It's called bird shot. Have you a great thanksgiving!
The fees at Lewis County Animal Shelter are nowhere near that amount. Less than $100 including neutering/shots/etc. Good luck!
They send you to a vets office.
Jon. I have a 10 month old pit. Looking for home. No cost. Just love for him.
Yes, they can get rain scald or sunburned if they're left out
They do get large breed dogs. They are even cheaper to adopt than the smaller ones, they told me it's because they get so many of them.
So if it is a stray there is not a fee.....if it is your dog I think it is $35.
Yes
They have no room for furniture for the dogs.
They have pictures on theyre web page. Just do a search on the shelter and theyll come up.
