Receptionists always seem like they would rather not talk to you, appointments are several weeks if not months out. It might be a training facility for new doctors? Either way, I've never had nor seen the same one. The few times I've been in, Doctors have been friendly. I'd go elsewhere if there were other options locally.

Dr. Shield is my PCP as well as my newborn son’s. She took wonderful care of me before and during my pregnancy and is still taking good care of me 3 months PP. She really knows her stuff and if there’s something she doesn’t know, she finds out from an expert in the field, FAST! She’s an amazing human being. Every assistant, nurse, office staff, and other doctor I’ve seen here is just as caring and knowledgeable. It takes a lot for me to trust one doctor, let alone a whole team of people in the medical field. I love it here and won’t ever go anywhere else. To all the people complaining about appointments booked out pretty far, that’s what urgent care is for. Chehalis Family Medicine is worth the wait every time!

They messed up our daughter’s immunizations, causing her to have to get another series. Then they couldn’t get me in for two and a half months for severe abdominal and pelvic pain... by then I already had emergency surgery and was in physical therapy. But they missed my cancer on five scans, basically telling me I’m making things up. Finally Doc Neshiama found the cancer in my fourth biopsy, since his nurse failed to do the original pap during the cyst removal like we agreed, and I read from the board, and finally sent me to an actual doctor. He did a scan, saw the 4cm tumor immediately and couldn’t understand why the doctor office, urgent care, obgyn and ER alllllll missed the tumor of the five month period I had scans. I’m now in talks with a lawyer . I hope this never happens to anyone else.

Long waits to get in. High turn over was there over a year and had 3 different Doctors. Had many cancellations. One Doctor decided to take me off a medication after the Washington medical review board called and told him he was doing it to fast, my neurologist called and told him not to take me off it at all, he would not listen to anyone I had to change Doctor's. I ended up in the hospital twice as a result of their care. If they could get and keep a Doctor maybe they would do better but providence is so big that as soon as there is an opening in a bigger area they are gone. It was the worst experience I ever had at a primary care physician.
