This is the best place to go for help with your animals. They have a very caring staff. You can get help with spay n neuter which can be spendy. It's very easy to get to and very helpful.

Good morning, I had contacted this organization yesterday January 28, 2020 in desperate need for assistance with emergency medical need. My dog Oreo had been hit by a car a few days ago and I had been unable to raise money for vet expense. I was worrying she could have internal injuries. I needed to take her to get checked out and had NO options for vet bill. Feeling nothing but pure despair and loss of any hope for my dog getting seen and/or any medical care, I reached out to Sharon Perkins who suggested I contact Concern for Animals. So dialing the number I had overwhelming doubt anybody would answer but to my surprise this organization actually answered my call!! It wasn't an automated system requiring me to select numbers to route my call, I wasn't put on hold nor sent to voicemail. The lady who answered my call was a God send. She listened to my situation and took immediate action. She solved my crisis and turned my perspective back around giving me HOPE for my dog. I can't thank her and this organization enough for covering the cost of the vet bill this morning. Oreo was seen at Deschutes vet clinic at 730 and I am ecstatic to report NO internal injuries, no broken bones or fractures. Oreo has bumps and bruises and scrapes. She was prescribed a anti-inflammatory/ pain medication. I cannot express enough what you have done for me and my dog. Thank you doesn't put into words the gratitude I feel for this organization. I will always be grateful and will donate back to you one day when I am able. Thanks again. Have a great day. Kim and Oreo

Hi Nicole, unfortunately we do not have the resources to take on long term fosters. I'm not sure if Feline Friends would be able to help but they might be able to recommend other resources for you to contact.
What is the question? 😎
You can call or visit to see what animals are available for adoption in office. There are further resources available on their website.
We are currently full. If you send information and a few pictures we can do a curtesy post on our FB page. We will need your information also as interested people will contact you directly.
Hi Marlon, thank you for reaching out to us. We are full right now and I do not expect to have any availability for the next 9 weeks. Please go to our website (concernforanimals.org) and look at the Resources page, specifically Other Organizations. We have a list of rescues listed that may have openings. Unfortunately this is "kitten season" and most rescues are full so you may have to call several.
Hi Cookie! Thanks for your question. We don't sell ferrets, but you might try rescuing one through a local critter rescue group. A quick Google search for ferret rescues in Washington state will bring up some options. Hope that helps!
Vikki, please call the office (360) 456-8176 and our volunteer will help you and see what we can do.
Hi Isabella, thank you for reaching out to CFA! We currently do not have any animals available for foster however we do have some limited volunteer opportunities. Please submit a volunteer application located on our website if you would like additional information.
They offer places that do low cost procedures and have vouchers to help cost at other locations
Out of curiosity what bearing does that have for her?
Hi Abigail, you have to be 16 yrs of age accompanied by an adult or 18 yrs or older to volunteer individually.
We provide assistance for qualifying low income pet owners that reside in Thurston, Mason and Lewis counties.
Hi Jenny, you can actually call anytime in regards to vouchers, before noon on Monday is for those who are calling for assistance at our food bank. So please call the office and they will get back to you.
Call your vet and ask him for advice.
I'm sorry we don't have the ability to man a 24 hour line. You may leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we are able.
