Each time I have had a need to call Silver Lake Water I am greeted with friendly/helpful staff. They are not only kind, but very helpful. Recently I have fallen on harder times, and they have gone above and beyond to help me. The CS Manager was even willing to get on the phone to help me personally and take time out of their day to talk to me to see how they could help. Not only are they kind but when they say they care about their customers, I believe them. They have shown it to me time and time again.

No online bill pay. No online autopay. No online set up. Can pay with card only over the phone, with fees. Want to link your checking acct to avoid the fees? Sorry not allowed. Can't set up autopay with a bank acct like I've done with PUD, PSE, Alderwood Water, T-Mobile, Comcast, Discover, the list goes on. There are panhandlers on freeway exits who accept cards easier than Silver Lake WD. SLWD is stuck in 1991 and not planning to leave as evidenced by the website

Website is outdated. It's like 90's . Out of all the utility websites this is totally lame. No login / auto pay setup possible. And if you forget to pay they will send people to disconnect your service as a punishment :) . They don't have call or SMS service to inform pending payments. Arrogant management people, don't have vision and for sure they don't think about how to serve their customer better.

Very nice helpful staff in the office. And the staff out in the field very professional.

Not here. I'm two miles from the main office.
A new sewer main will be installed along 10th Drive SE from 118th Place SE to approximately 126th Street SE. Connecting to the new sewer line will be an option for residents but not a requirement. The District is still in the preliminary design stage, and will be doing community outreach on this subject as we get further along in the project.
No...they aren't asking for a gratuity. Never have.
When did it start? I don't see it listed here: https://www.doh.wa.gov/CommunityandEnvironment/DrinkingWater/ActiveAlerts
