I was involved in a work separation. the kind of separation that could have been age discrimination but it was hard to prove. they offered me a package and thank God before I signed it I went to Merrick Law. After listening to the details of my work experience and understanding the separation and compensation issues they advised me on how to respond. It took several months to get a settlement but in the end the business agreed to our terms and approximately $40K more than they were originally offering. At one point Merrick informed me that they were not going to take a percentage fee from one of the settlement buckets. That was most unexpected and appreciated.
