I'm only leaving this review to state that I was there the night the other reviewer claims the DJ yelled at them for 'being too loud." They were screaming. Full on, no words, Jamie Lee Curtis style SCREAMING randomly. This group did this so many times that people were complaining to the DJ and people in the bar area thought someone was in disress. Multiple times. Think about how obnoxious you have to be to bother others over the volume of the music. Vertex is great and you'll enjoy it if you have a modicum of self awareness.

Had a really great time here Friday night for a friend’s birthday. Super chill vibe with great customer service from the bar! This would absolutely be a 5 star review, except halfway through the night the DJ (very loudly and aggressively) yelled at a person in our group for being too loud. I would have understood if he had given us a warning of some sort (which we totally would have acknowledged), but he just stormed out onto the dance floor and very publicly yelled at us. It was super embarrassing and several other people on the floor were shocked and came up to ask if we were okay. We were all pretty disappointed and wound up leaving shortly after. I wish he would have politely and discreetly addressed the situation rather than yelling at us in the extremely disrespectful manner he did.
