I recently called and worked with Julia at the box office. I said I would like to see a show this fall and also gift some tickets to my parents. I asked what shows there were to pick from. I ordered beethoven and Chopin. She failed to mention the beethoven show was for tomorrow. That would have been reasonable to say" heads up this show I'm recommending isn't later this fall, it's tomorrow". By the time I checked the confirmation email the next day the show had already happened. I then called and spoke to Julia and instead of receiving any customer service to fix this she hung up on me! I think the wonderful and talented RPO deserve to be handled by someone better at the box office.

Seen them play a few times, and they’re always excellent! Last Christmas we saw the Nutcracker at Kodak Hall, and this summer we saw them play along to Jurassic Park. Fun, nostalgic, and the orchestra is just fantastic. Sometimes we’d forget they were playing live—which I feel is high praise, because they just sounded exactly like the film. The audience was quiet and respectful, as well, which is always a plus. Highly recommend seeing them play!

Went to see the little mermaid. The movie and orchestra were amazing. Big problem though. One water fountain that is operational in the whole place. No consessions or the bottled water that was said to be able to purchase on the website. I have been to a large number of events here and this is seriously a low point for the place. For the ticket price I would at least expect to pay $6 for a water when the even is 2 hours long and has an Intermission. Also no outside food or drink were allowed in either.

Why name an orchestra with "harmonic" in it? That's cringe. I thought it was an orchestra of harmonicas.

Hi Rosa - I'm Marketing Manager at the RPO. I just saw your question and obviously, it's a tad past when you inquired. Sorry we missed you! We don't typically record video of our concerts. However, we do offer deep discounts to family/friends of Festival High School Chorale members, and depending on the year-to-year arrangement with the Chorus leadership, complimentary tickets may be available if she performs in future years. Don't hesitate to reach out to us at 454-2100 to inquire. :)
There might be in Charlotte Beach. I would call to be sure because parking might be an issue.
Hi Susan, the Orchestra plays the score. When music is heard in the movie, they're performing. So it would be just like watching the movie but the music is live. No cc as I know. Soft music during dialogue.
Hi Carmen - Sorry we missed your post! Our alerts stopped for some reason. Yes - you can most always purchase tickets for concerts at the door. Some of our most popular concerts do sell out from time to time (see: Harry Potter), but most other concerts always have tickets available - though for best seat choice, you want to order in advance particularly if budget is a concern. For concerts occuring in Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre, the box office opens 90 minutes prior to concert time. For concert occuring at other venues (ie. Hochstein, Glazer Performing Arts Center at Nazareth College), the box office opens 1 hour before the concert.
Hi Norma - Sorry we missed your post! We offer gift certificates for sale both online as well as via phone (we'll mail a physical certificate to you). Online, visit https://my.rpo.org/gift/add and simply enter the dollar amount. You'll get a PDF copy emailed to you. Otherwise, call 454-2100 Mon-Sat, 10a-5p. :)
