I've stayed here for a month and half, it felt like home staying there. Rooms and services were good. The location is great. I had a pleasent stay.

We had an unexpected unfortunate house fire and the city of Manhattans salvation army and red cross offered to help pay for our rooms and they informed us that the payment was denied from management. I think it's horrible that in a emergent situation like this your company refused payment to help our family in dealing with such a huge loss.

We’ve stayed here multiple times throughout the years as our “go-to” hotel but this time was very disappointing. Our first room offered was extremely worn and had an unpleasant smell. We were offered a different room that was better but still smelled and had worn furnishings. In both rooms the arms of the chairs were extremely worn and the room as a whole was dingy. The carpets in the hallways and stairwells needed cleaning and at one place in the stairwell, a q-tip remained on the floor for 2 days before being picked up. The hotel needs a thorough deep cleaning and recliner chair replacements; the chairs are disgusting. The location is extremely convenient and the staff was pleasant but I doubt that we’ll ever stay here again.

Our son had surgery and we came to be with him. He stayed with us for four days. The Candle Wood Suites was wonderful. They were helpful and went above and beyond to help us get the best room for his needs. The hotel was very clean, staff was helpful, and the rooms were wonderful! We will definitely be back to this location.
