SEFCU was eager to call me to notify me of a $15 charge they were about to send to collections. The call was legally required to be 48 hours before, so they called me at close on a Friday so they could go through with it. They made no effort to contact me beforehand, even willingly ignoring a legal address change. After 4 years, it is still the only ding on my credit report. I contacted them multiple times for a correction with no luck. I paid as soon as I was aware. They don’t care. SEFCU: A Credit Union To Ruin Your Credit
